Famotidine

Famotidine is used to treat ulcers of the intestines and stomach. Famotidine may also be used to prevent intestinal ulcer from returning after treatment, as well as treat certain stomach and throat problems caused by too much acid or backward flow of stomach acid into the esophagus. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant before using this medication. This medication should only be used when clearly needed.
