Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug that relieves pain and swelling. Ibuprofen is used to treat headaches, muscle aches, backaches, menstrual cramps, dental pain, athletic injuries and arthritis. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant before using this medication.
