Laser hair removal is a technique used to remove unwanted hair by targeting dark pigment in the hair and causes thermal or mechanical damage to the hair follicle. It is recommended to avoid laser hair removal during pregnancy because there have been no studies done to evaluate the safety for pregnant mothers. If you chose to do laser, the breasts should be avoided in the last trimester and when breastfeeding. During the final weeks of pregnancy, it is highly recommended not to use electrolysis on the abdomen because it is very sensitive and would be uncomfortable to the pregnant mother.
