Pregnancy does bring on various pains and aches and finding ways to relax are comforting. However, saunas may pose the risk of overheating that may result in birth defects of miscarriages. Instead of a sauna take a warm bath, have a massage, and practice breathing exercises.
Check with your physician to discuss the risks and benefits of saunas during your pregnancy.
